An underutilized, transient space between Guildford Town Centre’s parking lot and mall entrance is transformed into a peaceful oasis, inviting visitors to pause & relax.
With a central tree as a focal point, the newly designed plaza creates a welcoming environment where shoppers can unwind & connect in a vibrant, rejuvenated space.

A circular bench with integrated table surfaces has been designed to nestle atop the existing concrete planter, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics - and extending to additional seating around the space.
Complementing this, an oversized staircase activation has been introduced to serve as an inviting focal point that draws the attention of passersby along the main thoroughfare.
