Simultaneous Vibrancies is a scalable kinetic colour installation that turns everyday blinds into moving optical sculptures.
Through light, motion and layered repetition, the work makes colour feel unstable, alive and constantly changing.

As the work expands in depth, density and rhythm, the optical effect intensifies - allowing each configuration to respond directly to its site, from storefronts and public events to interiors and larger architectural settings.

Together United is a tactile installation designed to inspire play, discovery, and connection.

Inspired by Düsseldorf’s many migrant communities, the structure’s intersecting frames and convergence of colourful elastic cords symbolise the framework for unity, visually representing how these diverse cultures blend to create a vibrant and harmonious whole.

Competition Shortlist

The installation’s structure, divided into colourful compartments, invites visitors to forge their own path. By pushing through the elastic walls, participants physically and metaphorically cross the divisions that separate us, actively engaging in the process of uniting across differences.
